  • The author discusses his belief that voice recognition (VR) will become an increasingly common means of interacting with personal technology. He says VR will be particularly important for wearable computers whose diminutive size will make tactile interaction difficult. Wearable devices noted include a smartwatch Apple Inc. is rumored to be readying for release in October, 2014, and the Google Glass eye wear from Google Inc.
