    Ouvir e registrar os relatos de mulheres procedentes de outros países permite fazer uma viagem ao passado, pois elas guardam na memória as lembranças das experiências vivenciadas ao longo do tempo. Neste sentido essas mulheres são indicadoras para os estudos da história da imigração no Brasil. No presente estudo optou-se por ouvir e transcrever as falas para analisar o relato de duas mulheres italianas que mudaram para Porto Alegre, entre os anos de 1946-1948. Iole Tredici, oriunda de Pescia, região norte da Itália e Dalva di Martino, procedente de Morano Cálabro, região sul da Itália. Pretende-se, através das falas dessas mulheres, saber as motivações que as direcionaram à cidade de Porto Alegre. É importante entender os diferentes olhares e percepções da cidade, levando em conta a origem de cada uma das imigrantes investigadas.

    Listen and record the stories of women from other countries enables make a journey into the past, because they hold the memories of experiences along time. In this sense these women are indicators for studies of the history of immigration in Brazil. In the present study it was decided to listen and transcribe speech to analyze the story of two Italian women who moved to Porto Alegre, between the years 1946-1948. Iole Tredici, originally from Pescia, northern Italy and Dalva di Martino, coming from Morano Calabro, southern Italy. It is intended, through the speeches of these women, knowing the motivations that have led to the city of Porto Alegre. It is important to understand the different perspectives and perceptions of the city, considering the origin of each of the immigrants researched.
