  Replica of "Altarpiece of the passion, death, resurrection and ascension of Christ" of Bernat Saulet. Sculpture and new technologies. Description of the technical procedure.

  The growing, unstoppable and efficient use of new technologies in the three-dimendional reproduction of artistic heritage is something already known in the field of conservation and restoration of it, but perhaps not so well known is the relationship established between the sculptors and the use of these new systems. Traditionally it has always been responsible for conducting copies of three-dimensional parts to trade professionals whose training and enabled them to perform these tasks with maximum guarantees as to the quality of work and the preservation of the original, we speak of sculptor. From the work of the replica of the "Altarpiece of Bernat Saulet" in this asrticle we make a descrption of the technical process of making a special distinction of doing the work in the craft of traditional sculpture, which seems to be in a back seat to the dazzling brilliance of the new technologies. We present a summary descrption of the most important parts of the tecnic procedure and point out technical and conceptual brief remarks from the perspective of the sculptor.

  La creixent, imparable i eficent utilizació de les noves tecnologies en la reproducció del patrimoni artístic tridimensional és un fet ja conegut en l'àmbit de la seva conservació i restauració, però potser no és tan coneguda la relació que s'ha establert entre els escultors i la utilizació d'aquest nous sistemes. Tradicionalment sempre s'ha encarregat la realització de les còpies de peces tridimensionals als professionals la formació i ofici dels quals els capacitava per desenvolupar aquestes tasques amb un màxim de garanties pel que fa a la qualitat del treball i a la conservació de l'original, parlem de l'escultor. A partir dels treballs realizats en la rèplica del "Retaule de Bernat Saulet", en aquest article es fa una descripció del procés tècnic d'elaboració fent una especial distinció dels treballs realizats dins de l'ofici de l'escultura tradicional, la qual sembla quedar en un segon enfront de l'enlluernadora brillantor de les noves tecnologies. Presentem una descripció resumida de les parts més rellevants dins d'aquest procediment tècnic i assenyalem unes breus anotacions conceptuals des del punt de vista de l'escultor.
