Resumen
The present article looks to promote and emphasize the importance of incorporating the category gender for the economic analysis considering that this application does not constitute a new variable in what is has been used in other parts of the world since many years ago, and that acts in interdisciplinary way for diverse types of investigations. But their lack of diffusion does not allow being part of the study program of all Ecuadorian Universities like a transversal axis and a complete economic analysis.
The work addresses since the same emergence of the definition of gender, their related theories until reach the most important thing in the economic field. The definition of gender beats the tendencies or preferences because in any structure of an economic though, it sustains itself.
Pointing out its practice application we need to mention that, in this moments, it has been incorporated as part of the accounts of the quote of the State in some countries, as well their indicators will be the main source to evaluate the fulfillment of the Objectives of the Millennium in the year 2015.The works is based in a compilation of the theories most related and it sustains of the statistic input of official organisms that constitute one initiative not presented before.
