Gonjiro is a farmer-fisherman's house with thatched roof at the southern end of Boso peninsula in Japan. It was built around 120 years ago. The thatched roof housings have been dominant in Japanese rural landscpae. However, nowadays we can hardly find except some buildings preserved as cultural heritage.

Lastozko estalkidun etxebizitzak nagusi izan dira Japoniako landa-eremuan. Alabaina, egun nekez topatuko ditugo horrelako baserriak, kultura-ondare gisa mantendu direnez beste.
