  • This article presents the automation of a conventional machine to tool computer numerical control (CNC) for milling materials for teaching purposes. The system is based on positioning control stepper motors, executed by means of a three orthogonal axes. In addition, the use of software that can read files in G and M code created by a design program that performs a preliminary outline machining and sends the coordinates through LPT port via TTL pulses to the control board motors, which generate the movement of the axes.
