    • This article presents the project results to reduce waste by using tools of continuous improvement and lean manufacturing. The problem exists in a Company dedicated to medical products, specific in the cannula head assembly that has been delivering products with holes without glue, producing 216 pieces of waste per day transformed into costs, it´s represent $ 275.60 dollars daily. To search for the root cause of the problem, by using the technique of the 8-Disciplines, this was proposed by the company FORD as a technique that offers a comprehensive approach to problem solving. This article is drawn from an Industrial stay program, and it was required for the completion of studies and Process Engineering Industrial Operations at the Technological University of Ciudad Juarez.
