Resumen de Divulgación y educación: Diseño de talleres científicos en el nivel prescolar basados en los campos formativos PEP 2011 en el estado de Guanajuato

• The academic research group "Design and Culture" was founded in 2004 registering as its major research interestin design and technology in the scientificdivulgation. The mayor goal of this research group is the generation of multidisciplinary projects focused on education and the implementation of TICs.

  With this goal in mind the project "Initial Education and Scientific Divulgation" was created. The aim of this project is to link science with preschool education and to promote the children´s interest in the following topics: volcanoes, insects, mammals and marine oasis. With the purpose to divulge science the research group organized workshops which have been given in six towns in Guanajuato state. For this project researchers invited students studying different majors in the University of Guanajuato to participate.

  In this paper we present the first preliminary results obtained from the workshops taught in four towns out of six as well as the experiences teaching the workshops on preschool level. In order to give the workshop in preschool it was necessary to adapt its structure and the activities focusing on competence based teaching. The used methodology includes five steps: 1) Investigatation the role and content of science in the official Educational Preschool Program 2011; 2) workshop design; 3) recruitment of presenters of the workshops; 4) presenting of the workshops in different preschools in the following towns León, Guanajuato, Silao, Irapuato, Salamanca y Juventino Rosas;

  5) project evaluation and conclusions.
