La evaluación empresarial se torna una tarea compleja, en la medida en que es necesario tener en cuenta, no solo las interrelaciones que se producen al interior de la empresa, sino además, las de ésta con su entorno. El objetivo del trabajo es presentar una metodología para la evaluación integral de la empresa como sistema, que tiene en cuenta esa complejidad y que permite identificar las oportunidades de mejora de la organización en la implementación de su sistema de dirección y gestión. Se expone el caso de una empresa evaluada utilizando la metodología propuesta y se analizan los resultados obtenidos en las diferentes etapas del proceso, los cuales fundamentan la importancia del uso de la metodología propuesta.

The managerial evaluation is becoming a complex task, as far as it is necessary to take into account, both the interrelations that take place within the company and those which exist between the organization and its environment. The objective of the work is to present a methodology for the integral evaluation of the company as a system, which takes into consideration that complexity and allows the identification of the organization’s opportunities of improvement, related to the implementation of its administration and management system. The case of an evaluated company is exposed, using the proposed methodology; and the results obtained at the different stages of the process are analyzed. These outcomes support the importance of the utilization of the above mentioned methodology.
