    Se analizan los datos patobiográficos de 4 geniales mujeres artistas del siglo XX: O´Keeffe, Lempicka, Kahlo y Carrington. En algún momento de sus vidas sufrieron cuadros patológicos psiquiátricos muy graves, que ejercieron una profunda influencia en su trayectoria artística. No obstante, su determinación les llevó a rehacerse de tales infortunios y les permitió descubrir novedosos caminos de expresión para desarrollar su talento creador.

    The patobiographic data of four great XXth century women artist (O�Keeffe, Lempicka, Kahlo and Carrington) are analyzed. At some point in their lives suffered very serious psychiatric diseases, which had a profound influence on his career. However, their determination led them to overcome such misfortunes and allowed them to find novel ways of expression to develop their creative talent.
