Resumen de Um fundamento para o ecumenismo: a irredutibilidade do outro

  This article presents two proposals : first, it suggests that the ecumenical project of a common corporate organization be extended to a project spurred by all the world religions in view of a just global order , peaceful and with more solidarity;  secondly, it suggests that this project is no longer justified by the search for identity and religious-cultural homogenization currently impossible before the already established multiculturalism, but rather from the assertion of irreducibility of the other as the motto for an approximation between the different religious and cultural conceptions in every nation and globally. The importance of having as a starting point the irreducibility of the other becomes practicable, first, by doing justice to violations against every religious-cultural identity in particular and, secondly, by realizing that because it is impossible a kind of strict standardization from a specific religious and cultural belief, only peace and reciprocity, streamlined through all religions, could solve the currently existing conflicts, many of them characterized by religious and cultural violence against difference.

  Neste artigo, proponho (a) tanto que o projeto ecumênico de uma organização societária comum seja ampliado para além da proposta de organização das igrejas cristãs, sendo estendido para um projeto dinamizado por todas as religiões mundiais em vista de uma ordem global justa, pacífica e solidária, (b) quanto que ele seja fundamentado não mais pela busca da identidade e da homogeneização religioso-cultural, de resto impossível hoje diante do consolidado multiculturalismo, mas sim a partir da afirmação da irredutibilidade do outro como o mote para uma aproximação entre as diferentes concepções religioso-culturais, no solo de cada nação e globalmente. Partir da irredutibilidade outro possibilitaria, primeiro, fazer-se justiça às violações contra cada identidade religioso-cultural em particular e, segundo, perceber que, na impossibilidade de uma uniformização estrita a partir de um credo religioso-cultural específico, somente a paz e a reciprocidade, dinamizadas por meio de todas as religiões, podem resolver os antagonismos atualmente existentes, muitos deles caracterizados pela violência religioso-cultural contra a diferença.
