    Desde 1990, con el fin de la Revolución sandinista, se han elaborado en Nicaragua diferentes memorias públicas sobre ese proceso. La memoria hegemónica de la revolución dentro del sandinista ha sido fraguada por el FSLN. Esta memoria colectiva define las narrativas personales de muchos sandinistas, aunque no todo su contenido. El presente artículo describe cómo un grupo de campesinos sandinistas, en la vieja frontera agrícola del país, rememora el pasado revolucionario. El objetivo es mostrar cómo ellos escogen qué y cómo rememorar en ciertos espacios y momentos, participando de esta forma en la elaboración y reproducción del archivo oral de esa gesta política. El artículo concluye analizando  los lazos que unen a la población con aquel proyecto político y el partido que lo representa.

    Since 1990, with the end of the Sandinista Revolution, in Nicaragua have been elaborated different public memories of that process. The revolution’s hegemonic memory within sandinismo has been forged by the FSLN. This collective memory defines the personal narratives of many Sandinistas, but not all of its content. The article describes how a group of Sandinista peasants, in the old agrarian frontier of the country, remembers the revolutionary past. The purpose is to show how they participate in the elaboration and reproduction of that political feat’s oral archive by choosing what and how to remember of that process, depending on the situation and time. The article concludes by analyzing the ties that link the population to that political project and to the party that represents it.
