    En éste artículo pretendo ofrecer una visión global de la problemática de la enseñanza de la estadística a futuros ingenieros, ilustrando su complejidad, pero al mismo tiempo mostrando algunos caminos que podrían ser abordados para su mejora. Se trata el tema del enfoque de los cursos introductorios el los programas de ingeniería de la U.T.P., el papel de la motivación, los estilos de aprendizaje de los estudiantes y su relación con los objetivos que se persiguen, los métodos de enseñanza y el papel de la tecnología.

    In this paper I try to offer a global vision of the problematic one of the education of the statistic to engineer futures, illustrating its complexity, but at the same time showing some ways that could be boarded for their improvement. The subject is the approach of the introductorios courses the programs of engineering of the U.T.P., the paper of the motivation, the styles of learning of the students and their relation with the objectives that are persecuted, the methods of education and the paper of the technology.
