  The main purpose of the article is to estimate the competitiveness of Parana’s exportation agribusiness. The Parana’s decomposition of the sources of growth of the exports, obtained by Constant Market-Share method (CMS), confirmed the existence of competitiveness of agribusiness exportation in the studied period; in the first half of the year 90, the growth of the world trade was responsible for the growth of the Parana’s exportation. Starting from the beginning until the end of the decade of 90, the composition of the line and the competitiveness of the exports explained the growth of the exports, even in the moments of world crises. The indicators of comparative advantages confirmed larger dynamism of exportation of orange juice, wood in the format of plates and sugar (rude and refined).

  O objetivo deste artigo é estimar a competitividade das exportações paranaenses do complexo agroindustrial. A decomposição das fontes de crescimento das exportações, obtida pela aplicação do método Constant Market Share (CMS), confirmou a competitividade desse complexo. Na primeira metade dos anos 90, o crescimento do comércio mundial e a competitividade contribuíram para o crescimento das exportações paranaenses. De meados até o final da década de 90, a composição da pauta e a competitividade das exportações passaram a explicar o crescimento das exportações, mesmo nos momentos de crise mundial. As vantagens comparativas reveladas confirmaram o maior dinamismo da pauta de exportações paranaenses para produtos como suco de laranja, madeira em placas e açúcar (bruto e refinado).
