Las embarcaciones, los mercaderes y sus productos en las relaciones comerciales enrtre Tabarka y Valencia (1600-1703)

    Este artículo se aproxima a lo que debieron ser las relaciones comerciales entre la isla tunecina de Tabarka (remitente de productos norteafricanos) y Valencia (destino final de los géneros expedidos) a lo largo del seiscientos y los tres primeros años del setecientos. Abordándose temas como los mercaderes que asentados en ambas orillas hicieron realidad estas importaciones, los tipos de embarcaciones, los patronos que las dirigían o los productos que se desembarcaron en el puerto-playa del Grao valenciano. Estudio realizado a partir de los datos extraídos de la serie Peatge de Mar, incluidos en la sección Maestre Racional del Archivo del Reino de Valencia.

    This paper introduces us to what must have been the market relationship between Tabarka tunisian island (sender of north african goods) and Valencia (final destination of shipped products), through sixteenth century and the first three years of the seventeenth century. This article address issues as: the merchants settled down in both sides of Mediterranean sea doers of this imports; the several types of ships used, the skippers head its and de products unloaded in the port-beach of Valencia (El Grao).This research is realized on the basis of the documentary series Peatge the Mar These series belong to the section of Maestre Racional and are preserved in the Archives of the Kingdom of Valencia.
