Resumen de Ação popular: Um projeto reformista para o Peru

This article analyses the national project composed by the peruvian party Acción Popular, founded by the architect Fernando Belatinde Terry in the decade of 1950. It tries to apprehend the relations between this project and the troubled historical context in which it came up, and the reasons of its important repercussion in that society. This work's central hypothesis is that the specifities of the peruvian modernization process have contributed to shape this political alternative, presented as a third position based on the peruvian traditions.

Este artigo analisa o projeto nacional formulado pelo partido político peruano Ação Popular, fundado pelo arquiteto Fernando Belaúnde Terry na década de 1950. Procura perceber as relações deste projeto com o contexto de profundas transformações em que surgiu e as razões da importante repercussão que teve na sociedade de então. A hipótese central deste trabalho é a de que as especificidades do processo de modernização peruano ajudaram a conformar esta alternativa política, apresentada como uma terceira posição baseada nas tradições peruanas.
