Resumen de Aspectos teórico-metodológicos, fontes e historiografia da história do ensino de história no Brasil (1990-2008)

Th is study is the presentation of refl ections undertaken based on the analysisof historical-educational production connected with the theme of History of SchoolSubjects. From the analysis is inferred the existence of theoretical-methodologicalfoundations of the History of School Subjects that support the refusal of treating thetheme of the school subject in a prescriptive and a-historical manner, the eff ort inapproaching the theme in a comprehensive manner and, fi nally, the search for understandingthe social uses of the subjects at diff erent levels of teaching. From the point ofview of sources, in the history of school subjects there is fertility in the use of evidencelike those most commonly presented in investigations in this fi eld, namely: a variedbibliography, printed and handwritten documents, oral testimony and iconography.

Trata-se da apresentação de refl exões realizadas a partir da análise da produção histórico-educacional vinculada à temática da História das Disciplinas Escolares.Depreende-se da análise a existência de fundamentos teórico-metodológicos da História das Disciplinas Escolares que comportam a recusa de tratar a temática da disciplina escolar de modo prescritivo e a-histórico, o esforço em abordar a temáticade modo compreensivo e, por fim, a busca da compreensão dos usos sociais dasdisciplinas nos diferentes níveis de ensino. Do ponto de vista das fontes, a históriadas disciplinas escolares existe fertilidade na utilização de evidências, tais como asmais comumente apresentadas nas investigações neste campo, a saber: bibliografia variada, documentos impressos e manuscritos, depoimentos orais e iconografia.
