    O objetivo deste artigo é apresentar uma reflexão sobre a importância que os imperadores romanos do período Severiano viram na construção e na divulgação de imagens favoráveis a eles, como forma de garantir a legitimidade de seu poder. Essas imagens passaram a integrar a memória política acerca dos governos severianos.

    The aim of this article is to present the attributed importance of the construction and diffusion of favourable images for the Roman Severan Emperors. So their images was a way of Iegimating their imperial power. These researched images had integrated the political memory of the severans governments.
