  • There are case studies of economic growth and development for the southern region of the State of Chihuahua. However, each region is distinguished in terms of their needs and thus the economic models are suitable to them, adapting them to the circumstances of the environment. When implementing policies with objectives of generating growth and development is necessary, little literature has to be taken as reference.

    Recognize the economic regions and how they interact to distinguish what the economic variables that have a major impact on growth and development of the national and regional economy are. The study to the southern region and through an economic, social and territorial characterization of the southern region of the state of Chihuahua focus, identify variables that promote further growth and development in the region in order to generate public policies that support the guidelines the National Development Plan 2010-2016.
