This mechanical metal company looks for improvements over its production system to enhance delivery times to its customers and provide a productivity standard. Therefore a time and movement study for three of its main products was carried out through application techniques, such as observation and interviews to record the tasks, which were examined. Later on each operation was measured by applying the technique of time and movement study, which determined the standard time. After the production study was done, the production time of three products was obtained, and the causes of delays because of a slow operation were identified
