El objetivo de este artículo consiste en analizar la algazúa de Poley (prov. de Córdoba), que acaeció durante el año 891 / 278.
En esa batalla se enfrentaron los ejércitos del emir omeya de Córdoba, ‘Abd-Allāh I, y del rebelde muladí ‘Umar ibn Ḥafṣūn y su coalición. Finalizó con el triunfo del emir omeya.

This article focuses on the analysis of Poley’s military campaign (891-278). In the mentioned foray, Umayyad amir of Cordova, ´Abd-Allah I, faced rebel muladí, ‘Umar ibn Ḥafṣūn, and his coalition; this battle ended with ‘Umar Ḥafṣūn´s defeat, and therefore with the triumph of Umayyad legitimism.
