Cervical cytologicin women fromtarabuco, Bolivia constitutes an area of special interest, because some risk factors such as lack of sexual orientation, poor hygiene, economic factor, vaginal infections, multiple exploits, abortions, promiscuity which predispose to develop cervical cancer.
The study included 378 women officially registered with the secretary of health hospital "Ricardo Bacherer" to which samples were taken at this institution, later these were treated with the Papanicolaou stain and once the observation of each sample the results given; a high percentage showed inflammatory smears for various reasons, a smaller percentage showed other types of smears, and a minimum percentage present in their malignant cells smear cervical cancer indicates different degree.
