Resumen de La importancia de la calidad de los servicios en los museos. Reflexión desde el punto de vista ergonómico.

Eugenia Sánchez, Martha Cordero, Ingrid Barradas

  • At the present the quality of services is an issue of great importance, not only from the operational point of view but also as a determining factor in the processes of administration and certification of organizations. In this sense, the Museum is an organization that already has transcended his role of exposing artistic pieces to the offer of services to society in general. Therefore it requires an organizational structure and an ongoing evaluation of its activities, infrastructure and administration in order to know the impact on the user and their areas of opportunity.

In this paper we relate the services of the museum and the ergonomics, and in specifically the lighting for two reasons: the influence of light in space, and the functionality of museology from user rating. The research was conducted at the Museum of Natural History Alfredo Duges of the Guanajuato University during the summer of 2012 in the program known as the Summer of Scientific Research from the University of Guanajuato. For the first, second and third phase of this research the team was formed by Dr. Ma. Eugenia Sánchez Ramos, Mtra. Gloria Magaña Cota y Claudia Lizeth Abundes Arreguín, a student from the Department of Chemistry with a scholarship for this program. The fourth phase, the follow up of the recommendations was in charge of Martha Leticia Lamb Salazar and Ingrid Barradas Bribiesca.
