New technological, social and communicative processes cause transformations in contemporary cinema; in fields of the production, and the construction of narrative and filmic praxis. But film and multifaceted technological modernity, only has the Audio Description (AD ) system to include people without sight, in the world of cinema. The interest of this study is to identify how much the AD system is suited to the understanding of audiovisual messages in Mexican blind people, since the system narratives are in English or Spanish in Spain. Therefore this study explores the perception and understanding by young blind people of San Luis Potosí, Mexico, at film materials with the technological system AD. As part of the methodology the film comedy "The Devil Wears Prada" was played to a blind sample of 10 individuals, divided into two groups. To the first group the movie was reproduced with the Mexican Spanish dub and the second projection audio description in Spanish of Spain. Based on the results thrown, this paper proposes as an ideal, to adapt film audiodescipción to the language of the blind people�s place of origin for a better understanding, as it is in the practice of dubbing films in each country.
