Resumen de La competitividad de las nuevas universidades públicas.

• This paper addresses some of the situations in research and competitiveness, public universities daily living-ups, located in the interior of Mexico, to which students from entering communities near that site. The aim is to present the challenges faced by these universities to be operational soon, limited budget and limited unfavorable conditions that help researchers to economic growth in the region. It is an exploratory qualitative approach, descriptive allowed continuing, through action research, with the development of strategies to build or attract scientists to support research in to the local and regional growth.
