Resumen de La fotografía y la escritura documental del archivo institucional

El artículo tiene como objetivo examinar la fotografía como tecnología de archivo �en concreto el género del retrato fotográfico� y su uso documental en relación con las prácticas y las técnicas de observación, registro y archivo de finales del siglo XVIII y principios del siglo XIX, técnicas que han dado lugar a una nueva «anatomía política del cuerpo». Asimismo, intenta señalar el discurso histórico de estas intersecciones mediante la emergencia de una extensa escritura documental estrechamente conectada con los mecanismos de poder-conocimiento en el análisis del filósofo francés Michel Foucault en Surveiller et Punir: Naissance de la Prison (1975).

The article aims to explore the photography as a technology of archive ¿in concrete the genre of the photographic portrait¿, and its documentary use in relation with the practices and the techniques of observation, of registration and archive at the end of the 18th century and beginning of the 19th, techniques that have placed a new ¿political anatomy of the body¿. Furthermore it intents to point out the historical discourse of these intersections through the emergency of an immense documentary writing closely connected to the power-knowledge mechanisms through the analysis of the French philosopher Michel Foucault in Surveiller et Punir:
