Resumen de Une statue inédite de Charles VI
A previously unknown statue of Charles VI has been discovered following an inventory of stonework from the demolished château of Jean de Montaigu in Marcoussis, France. The statue is part of a pair of headless statues dating from the early 15th century that could have been in the church of the Celestins in Marcoussis. The attribution is based on a description by geographer Victor-Adolphe Malte-Brun published in 1867. The female statue is either queen Isabeau of Bavaria or Jean de Montaigu's wife, Jacqueline de la Grange.
