Resumen de Profesión y profesionalización: hacia una perspectiva ética de las competencias en trabajo social

El artículo busca explicitar la relación entre la acción profesional, la profesionalización y las competencias. Las profesiones, desde el inicio de la sociedad moderna, han intentado regular la vida social a través del mundo laboral. En este sentido, el nexo entre conocimiento y poder está a la base del reconocimiento social de cualquier profesión. El mundo de las competencias no puede estar desraizado de una discusión amplia del mundo profesional, ni de un análisis de la acción profesional. Las competencias, como se usan en la bibliografía actual, son parte de un concepto nuevo aplicado al análisis de los recursos humanos en las empresas, al análisis de las profesiones y de las organizaciones sociales. En la tradición francesa, el concepto de competencia, refiere a cuatro ámbitos: (i) al sujeto histórico que aprende o ejerce la competencia, (ii) a la relación entre empleadores y asalariados, (iii) a la reivindicación del oficio en la competencia y (iv) al aspecto ético. La categoría de competencias pone en el centro de la discusión el ejercicio del oficio. Las competencias nos reenvían a una concepción de la acción humana y profesional, en la cual el sujeto es un actuante y actor de su mundo profesional. La acción profesional tiene una intencionalidad o un fin a alcanzar, un ethos profesional. El fin del Trabajo Social, debe ser el posicionamiento ético sobre aquello que conviene hacer cuando se pretende ayudar a las personas en dificultad.

The article looks for explicit the relationship among the professional action, the profesionalization and the abilities. The professions, from the beginning of the modern society, have tried to regulate the social life, through the labor world. In this sense the nexus between knowledge and power is to the base of the social recognition of any profession. The world of the abilities with out a wide discussion of the professional world, cannot be, neither of an analysis of the professional action. The abilities like they are used in the current bibliography, are part of a new concept applied to the analysis of the human resources in the companies, to the analysis of the professions and of the social organizations. In the French tradition, the concept refers to four environments: To the historical fellow that learns or it exercises the ability To the relationship among employers and salaried To the recovery of the occupation in the ability To the ethical aspect This analysis precise topics that should be deepened from the professional world. The category of abilities puts in the center of the discussion the exercise of the occupation. The abilities forward us to a conception of the human and professional action, in which the fellow is an actuante and actor of his professional world. The professional action has premeditation or an end to reach, a professional ethos. The end of the Social Work, it should be the ethical positioning on that that suits to make when it is sought to help people in difficulty.
