The influence of Leonardo da Vinci on Paul Klee's teaching at the Bauhaus is examined. The writer examines the Leonardo sources that were actually accessible to Klee to demonstrate how he applied them to his theory of art and his Bauhaus teaching. Through sketches and drawings, she then shows how he translated Leonardo's suggestions in practice.
