  • Resumen
    • A revised version of a paper delivered at “Geschichte(n) der deutschen Kunst,” a conference at Cologne University, Germany, on January 30, 2004. The writer discusses German Baroque art. The term “Deutscher Barock” covers the art of the Holy Roman Empire during the last two centuries of its existence. The German Baroque was a product and reflection of the political and cultural relations of the Empire, and figures from France, Bohemia, the Netherlands, and Italy played key roles in its development.
