Resumen de O não reconhecicmento do outro em interlocuções entre médicos e pacientes: simulacro e ethos na prática médica

We discuss the widespread assumption according to which identities are generally stated/constituted from the non-recognition of the other, and this other is built as a simulacrum of the self. If, on the one hand, we agree with the fact that dialogue presupposes the construction of simulacra, on the other hand, we propose that the subjects? interest in the success of communication affects the construction of these simulacra, extending the scope of possibilities through which the other is seen and understood. The success of the social practice recognized as doctor-patient consultation presupposes the construction of images of the self in the discourse that favor the recognition of the other (Souza-e- Silva & Piccardi, 2012; Piccardi, 2011).

Discute-se a premissa de que as identidades são em geral afirmadas/constituídas a partir do não reconhecimento do outro, e que este outro é construído como simulacro de si. Se, por um lado, concordamos com o fato de que a interlocução pressupõe a construção de simulacros, por outro, propomos que o interesse dos sujeitos no sucesso da interlocução afeta a construção desses simulacros, ampliando o escopo de possibilidades através das quais o outro é visto e compreendido. O sucesso da prática social reconhecida como consulta médico-paciente pressupõe a construção de imagens de si no discurso que favoreçam o reconhecimento do outro (Souza-e-Silva & Piccardi, 2012; Piccardi, 2011).
