Resumen de El aborto: un abordaje bio-psico-social

  El análisis de las condiciones socio-demográficas del aborto en el mundo y en España revela la inevitabilidad del mismo en toda la geografía mundial. Las diferencias se sitúan en el grado de inseguridad/peligrosidad y sus consecuencias en la salud físico-psíquica y la vida de las mujeres. Se perfila más detalladamente el embarazo y aborto en la adolescencia y las condiciones/valores que lo propician. Se describen las consecuencias de la “maternidad precoz obligada” en la vida de las adolescentes y sus hijos e hijas, la vulnerabilidad de algunas mujeres para ejercer un control sobre sus cuerpos, así como el abordaje que se precisa para realizar una eficaz Política de Salud Sexual y Reproductiva que incida realmente en la reducción de la incidencia del aborto y en el bienestar de las mujeres.

  The analysis of the socio-demographic conditions of abortion around the world, also including Spain, shows its inevitability in the worldwide geography. The differences are among the grade of insecurity/risk and its consequences in the physical-psychic health and life of women. Pregnancy and abortion during adolescence and the conditions and values that cause them are explained in detail. Consequences of “early forced maternity” in the life of teenagers and its sons and daughters are described, as well as the vulnerability of some women to control their body. Another point to mention is the approach that is required to carry out an effective Sexual and Reproductive Health Policy that has real impact on the reduction of abortion and welfare of women.
