  • Part of a symposium on how digital technologies affect the practices of art and art history. The writer discusses the interaction between art and the electronic media and sets out how she sees the future of teaching with multimedia. She predicts that students will be using multimedia for their projects and that teachers of art will be designing and writing multimedia presentations. She argues that how art teachers interact now with these media will shape and determine their value and role in the future.
