Eficiencia de la microacupuntura de la mano en 90 pacientes afectados de sacrolumbalgia

    Se realizó un ensayo clínico de Fase 11 temprana, abierto, controlado, no secuencial en 90 pacientes diagnosticados de sacrolumbalgia aguda en la consulta externa de Ortoped i a del Hospital Militar lnterprovincial Clirtico Quirúrgico "Octavio de la Concepción y La Pedraja" de Camagüey, desde mayo hasta agosto de 1997, con el objetivo de determinar la eficacia del microsistema de mano como tratamiento de elección.

    Se comprueba la efectividad de esta terapéutica a partir del tercer día de tratamiento alcanzando su máxima expresión al quinto día . La mayoría de los pacientes (98,89 %) son clasificados como asi ntomáticos al concluir el tratamiento.

    De forma comparativa con el tratamiento acupuntural corporal y el medicamentoso, el microsistema de mano representa un menor costo y mayor beneficio: corta duración , reincorporación social rápida. No se reportan complicaciones.

    lt was done an open, under control and-seq uential , early phase 11 clinical trial with 90 diagnostique patients having acute painful onvolving the lumbar region in the orthopedic consulting office at the lnter-provincial Military Hospital "Octavio de la Concepción y la Pedraja" in Camagüey, from May up to Agust 1997, with the aim to determine the efficiency of the hand m icrosystem as a treatment of choice. lt was verified the effectiveness of this therapeutics, starting from the third day of the treatmen which reached its highest expression on the fifth day. Most of the patientea (98,89%) were classified as non-symptomatics by the end of the treatment. So as in a comparative form with the corporal acupuncture treatment and the medicinal one, the hand microsystem represents a lower cost and a highert benefit:

    short duration and rapid social reincorporation. Complications are not reported.
