The article examines the painting "Suffer the little children come unto me," which was completed by the Italian painter Artemisia Gentileschi between the years of 1624 and 1625. Particular focus is given to issues regarding the painting's location, ownership and attribution. The artwork's subject matter and comparison to other 17th-century painterly works are also discussed.
