Antoine Rivalz's preparatory drawing for Christ Healing the Blind Man has been rediscovered in the Musée des beaux-arts, Lyon, France. The drawing was discovered when an ensemble of medal designs was unframed: it had been laid down on canvas and glued onto a board that was then used as a backboard. The drawing can be connected to the enormous canvas of Christ Healing the Blind Man by the Toulouse artist Rivalz in the hospital chapel in Garches, Paris.
