Resumen de La col·lecció Pere Ibarra en l'Arxiu Històric Municipal d'Elx

Pere Ibarra va arreplegar molts documents, llibres i restes arqueològiques de diverses procedències com del seu germà Aurelià, polític i historiador, amics i molts altres procedents d’arxius de la ciutat; aquesta important col·lecció fou desmembrada quan ell va morir. Part de la seua col·lecció de documents va passar desordenadament a l’Arxiu Històric Municipal d’Elx. És necessari donar a la col·lecció un tractament arxivístic per dues raons: primera, per a conéixer el procés de gènesi i, segona, retornar els documents al seu lloc d’origen.

Pere Ibarra collected many documents, books and archaeological materials from different sources: from his brother Aurelià –a local politician and historian–, friends and many more from the local archives. This important collection was split up when Pere Ibarra died. Part of his document collection haphazardly went to the Historical Archive of the Municipality of Elx. The collection needs an archival approach for two reasons: firstly, to find out the creation process; and secondly, to put the documents back in their proper location.
