    • The article seeks to provide information on the life of Italian woman Diodata "Dada" degli Adimari, focusing on letters written to her by Archbishop of Florence, Italy Antonino Pierozzi, later known as Sant' Antonino. Dada was married to Italian proconsul Paolo di ser Lando Fortini. A history of the Fortini family in Italy is provided by the author. The author is particularly concerned with Dada's widowhood, her financial situation, and her role as a mother. Her connection with the Observant Dominicans of San Marco in Florence is described.
