They stand out in this study eight species of Orchidaceae utilized by Cuban population in the herbal traditional medicine, specifying their forms of uses and the affections for the which they are employed. In the island 8 species of Orchidaceae are utilized at fewer, the which they are used for the population for 20 different affections. Those more utilized are those that provides a supposed antiasthmatic, anti-parasitical, or stimulant effect.
