  • Resumen
    • Unconventional medicine is a non specific term to design a wide variety of diagnostic and therapeutic methods. In last years, there were sorne political movements to recognize the validity and of them, but scientific validation is the only one possible, and must study its effectiveness, utility, indications, counterindications, side effects and biologic foundations of them. Unfortunately, many alternative lay practitioners lack of sufficient preparation to make a valid research, from a methodological point of view. COST (European Cooperation in Science and Technology) is a governments organization depending of European Comission that has engaged the COST B4 program, to promote research, coordination among researchers and methodological guidelines in biomedical and "alternative" health methods.
