A study over the pharmaceutical specialitis in Spain that content substances from vegetal origin, as refered by the General Council of Pharmacists. The number of specialities containing medicinal plants is decreasing last years (from 25 % in 1 987 to 1 6% in 1 996). There is a deep analysis of the composition, uses, substances and species that can be found in the spanish market.
