  • Resumen
    • An historical and critical speech about the relationships of phytotherapy use in Naturist Medicine. In XVII century was written the book «El Promotor de fa salud, el médico del agua>> {Health promotor, the water doctor}, by Vicente Pérez. Phytotherapy represents in Naturist Medicine like a bridge between Mechanicist and Vitalist philosophies. There are several ways in medicinal plants use: 1- From a pharmacological point of view, with a dose related effect, in the realm of the phytotherapist; 2- Like all-heal remedies, usually with an insufficient dose (herbal teas, etc.), the realm of the healer; 3-With naturist criteria, with an activation of defense mechanisms, in the realm of Naturist M. D. There were discussed also writings from Paul Carton and Casiano Ruiz-lbarra, in the early XXth century.
