  Dentro de un foro que debate el papel intelectual de la mujer en nuestro país y nuestro estado, no puede pasarse por alto el ejemplo de una que supo estar no a la altura, sino por encima de las condiciones de su tiempo, las cuales por mas adversas que hallan sido no fueron impedimento sino estímulo para llegar a ser lo que es hoy, un ejemplo a seguir por todas aquellas que hoy en día nos acompañan y engalanan las páginas de este texto, y a las que no queda sino reconocer que ellas son, por sí mismas, Ser y Tiempo. Ante el riesgo de que sus aportes se pierdan en el polvo de los tiempos, presentamos a continuación un resumen breve de la vida, obra y herencia intelectual de Hannah Arendt, necesaria para enfrentar los negros nubarrones que hoy en día oscurecen al país, a la política y su mejor alternativa para volverla humana, la Democracia.
