    En este ensayo se propone una mirada comprensiva acerca de la transformación cultural del Parque Bolívar y sus monumentos, qué tipo de usos, prácticas e hibridaciones acontecen y acontecieron durante los últimos diez años, los cuales han generado transformaciones culturales muy significativas. Por ello han sido útiles las contribuciones de Néstor García Canclini (1989) sobre la noción de hibridación cultural y las reivindicaciones estéticas del arte popular y la cultural de autores como Amador (2006), Castro (2002) y Flamarique (2004), los cuales exponen la prevalecía en la separación del arte culto y el arte popular, las diferencias entre lo culto y lo popular, las críticas sobre el arte popular y su fuente artística, y finalmente la religiosidad como inspiración más importante del arte.

    In this essay proposes a comprehensive look on the cultural transformation of Bolivar Park and its monuments, what kind of customs, practices and hybridizations happen and occurred during the last ten years, which have generated very significant cultural changes. They have therefore been useful contributions Nester Garcia Canclini (1989) on the notion of cultural hybridist and esthetic demands of popular art and culture by authors such as Amador (2006), Castro (2002) and Flamarique (2004), which speak about the prevalence in the separation of art and folk artists, the differences between cultured and popular criticism of popular art and artistic source, and finally about the religion haw the most important art inspiration.
