The article discusses three ways the Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) of Hong Kong is focusing on for listed companies disclosure. The objectives of the SFC are to increase compliance culture and improve corporate behavior, identify corporate misconduct, and ensure that listing of securities is not against public interest. Also discussed is the importance of identifying behavior prejudicial to the interests of shareholders, as well as initial public offering (IPO) prospectus review.
