  • The article reports on the high-yield financing completed by French chemical company Novacap that is said will provide French sponsors a way to avoid safeguard proceedings. An overview of how French-leveraged buy-outs are structured in order to protect against a safeguard proceeding is presented. Also notes is the issue over tax inefficiencies raised by such structure for French companies.
