  • The article reports on the first domestically listed exchange traded fund (ETF) launched in Egypt, known as XT-Misr ETF, as part of efforts to rebuild the national economy and restore investor confidence in the country. Topics discussed are the regulatory and market challenges to creating the XT-Misr ETF. An overview of investors' interest in newly-listed companies through initial public offerings (IPO) in Egypt is presented.
