  • The article presents update on the development and implementation of the U.S. Dodd-Frank Act. It examines the potential impact of the proposed legislation on global regulators and foreign banks and discusses the challenges face by banks when structuring their trading activities with the implementation of the Volcker Rule. Also discussed are the structuring of swaps inline with U.S. anti-evasion rules and the lessons European banks can learn from U.S. stress tests of large holding companies.
