  • The article reveals the divergent reporting practices of European Union (EU) members for put and call options in merger and acquisition deals under the European Markets and Infrastructure Regulation (Emir). Topics discussed are the distinctions between accepted reporting practices in Great Britain and Germany regarding derivatives transactions, as well as the registration and margin requirements that relate only to EU entities that include clearing and risk mitigation.
