  • The article reports on the two billion dollar sovereign bond offering issued by the government of Pakistan into the foreign debt markets after a seven-year absence in the market. A capital market executive notes the significance of the bond offering for local corporates and banks. Data presented indicate the value of each tranche, their respective terms of maturity, and the rating assigned by credit ratings agency Standard & Poor (S&P) to the bonds.
